Board of Directors Division 3 - Director Steve Webb Mr. Webb has served on the Board for the past 16 years. Mr. Webb attended school and was raised in Oakdale, now is a walnut farmer and Deputy Sheriff in Stanislaus County. Mr. Webb has been active on the Tri-Dam Board in the relicensing effort and has served as past President on the Oakdale Irrigation District Board Term Expires: Dec 2009 Division 5 - Director Jack Alpers President Dr. Alpers is a semi-retired large animal veterinarian, a graduate of Oakdale High School, and a graduate of the University of California at Davis with a doctorate in veterinary medicine. He has served on local city councils, planning commissions and school boards. Term Expires: Dec 2009 Division 2 - Director Tony Taro Mr. Taro was elected to the Board in 1993, 1997 and 2001. Mr. Taro has been an experienced dairyman, cattle rancher, and farmer for 63 years. He is a Tri-Dam Power Commissioner and has served on numerous state boards and committees. Term Expires: Dec 2009 Division 4 - Director Al Bairos, Jr. Vice President Mr. Bairos graduated from Oakdale High School and received his Bachelor's degree from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in Ag Business concentration in Ag Policy.  Mr Bairos' background is in production agriculture specializing in dairy and almond management.  He additionally has experience in farm loan financing and working as a field representative for Western United Dairymen on various political issues.  He currently manages and operates under the name of A & J Dairy Farm which consists of 365 acres of almonds and has a vested intereset in DeSimas & Bairos Dairy. Term Expires: Dec 2011 Division 1 - Director Frank B. Clark Mr. Clark was elected as Board President in 2004. He was a Vice President of Gallo Winery, Foreign Service Office at the U.S. State Department and was a police commander with the Modesto Police Department. Mr. Clark has resided in Oakdale for the past 42 years, has served as a trustee for Oakdale High School for 10 years, and was President of the Oakdale Fights Back, Rotary, Senior Citizens Foundation, Dinner Club and Golf and Country Club.
