OAKDALE IRRIGATION DISTRICT
SCHOLARSHIP
2007-2008

Oakdale Irrigation District offers two scholarships of $1,000.00 each every school year to two high school seniors. To be eligible to apply the student must:

• Reside within the OID service boundaries;
  
• Pursue a degree in an agricultural related field;
  
• Be accepted as a full-time student to an accredited college, university or vocational trade school for the Fall semester; and
  
• Have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Applications will be judged on the following criteria:

• Appearance of applications (neatness/spelling);
  
• School and community activities;
  
• Scholastic achievements;
  
• Aims and purposes of educational plan;
  
• Essay; and
  
• Letter of Recommendation.

The 2007-2008 applications are being accepted and must be submitted to OID no later than March 31, 2008. OID will contact the schools of the students that are awarded the two scholarships no later than May 1, 2008.
