Adopted Water Rates

Irrigation Adopted Water Rates

At its regular meeting on October 7, 2025, the Board held a Proposition 218 public hearing to review proposed changes to Agricultural Water User Rates. After considering all public comments and written protests, staff reported receiving 726 protests, which was less than the 1,534 needed for a majority. Since there was no majority protest, the Board proceeded with rate decisions. The directors approved the protest count, allowed for a maximum annual rate increase of up to 10% for 2026 to 2030, and, after more discussion and public input, voted to set a 7% rate increase for 2026.

Improvement District Adopted Water Rates

At its regular meeting on November 4, 2025, the Board conducted five Proposition 218 public hearings for Improvement Districts (IDs) 22, 41, 45, 46, and 51, each focused on determining whether a majority protest existed against proposed water service rate updates for 2026-2030. Across all IDs, written protests remained well below the thresholds required to stop the proposed rates. With no majority protests established, the Board approved each ID's updated rate structure, including annual and maximum rate increases as applicable.
